Cephus Weatherspoon

GFL Mentor - Cephus Weatherspoon

Cephus Weatherspoon is a former professional football player. He played for the New Orleans Saints and the Denver Broncos.

Cephus graduated from Fort Lewis College in 1972. There he was a rare three-sport letter winner, earning three letters in basketball and two each in football and track & field.

​

In 1972, Cephus was drafted by the New Orleans Saints and played for them from 1972-1974 as a wide receiver and return specialist. From 1974-1975 Cephus played for the Denver Broncos. In 1975 he signed with the Southern California Suns of the World Football League.

Cephus has a passion for mentoring students and helping them reach their personal goals. He is currently on the Goals For Life Advisory Board and has been with Goals For Life for over 20 years.
